We are delighted to annnounce the theme of our upcoming eighth edition- CAMPFIRE STORIES.
“So, give me the light of the campfire, warm and bright. And give me some friends to sing with, I’ll be here all night.”
THE MARTELLO JOURNAL presents ‘CAMPFIRE STORIES’
The Martello Journal will be launching their eighth edition at the James Joyce Martello Tower Museum on the 11th of September. The event will include readings of poetry and prose, as well as music on the edition’s theme, ‘Campfire Stories’.
This edition, which marks the Journal’s fifth anniversary, pulls from the editors’ idea of a campfire: an intimate setting, perfectly suited to the re-telling of a timeless story, to a close-knit audience. Stay tuned to purchase copies of the journal!
